Although most webmasters today do not build sites with frames, many sites five and ten years ago were built with frames. The idea was to allow one part of a site to change while the rest retains its look. Although this was certainly a breakthrough for making web design more efficient and user friendly, the effect with search engines is very negative.
Search engines do not see the page the same way we do. A site with frames would appear as one page to us, would appear as multiple pages to the search engine. This means that as the search engine crawls your site, it is logging pages that have no links to other parts of your site. Therefore when people come to your site from search engines, they end up on a page that is very confusing - and they soon leave.
There are many other technical reasons to avoid frames, but the bottom line is that if you want to have a competitive site, you need to make sure you are not using frames. By updating your site, search engines will be able to read your site better and begin to send you more free traffic.

What to do when you dont have time to write |

This issue comes up alot, as it is quite difficult to commit the amount of time needed to write content articles every day. New unique content is essential for a successful website. People use the web for research, so the more content you have on your website, the more likely you will touch on an issue that your clients may be researching. In fact, content is so important, that we require our client websites to add 365 articles per year. Writing a bunch of garbage will not work either, this is why we spend the time to educate our clients on how to write effectively for the internet.
You may recognize the name P.T. Barnum of Barnum and Baily Circus, but did you know that Barnum was one of America's first millionaires? "I have been running a successful business for many years. I am ready to grow, but I cannot afford to advertise. What do you recommend as a good alternative to build my business?"
To this question, Barnum would always reply, "You can't afford NOT to advertise."

You may find it better to write several articles at a time and have them automatically posted to your website later, or you may find it easier to spend a little bit each day to write an article for the day. Content is to search engines, what food left out is to stray cats. And the more you feed, the more they come back. Keeping your site regularly updated gets the search engines to come back more frequently, and to look deeper and deeper into your site.

Without seeking out and obtaining links to your site, search engines may assume that the information you are providing is useless. Think of links as votes of confidence. The more quality links you have, the more confidence a search engine will have in your website.
So is it that easy?
No! Both processes require extensive knowledge of how search engines work. When writing content for your site, it is critical to keep each article focused and ensure that it is relevant to your site. Without proper direction, your search engine rankings are likely to remain where they are, or bring you traffic that does not convert to sales. When working on link building, it is extremely important that you be able to recognize and find high quality links. All links are good links, but if it takes 1000 junk links to equal the power of one good link... and it takes you over an hour to get one link - you can see why it pays to focus your energy on getting high quality links.
