How to get unlimited minutes on your Palm Treo 700p without breaking the bank!

Am I really suggestiong what you hope I'm suggesting?  YES.  This is basically Palm VOIP, but not quite.
What's the catch?  Although the process is fairly simple, there are several steps that need to be fulfilled for everything to work.  Also, this deal may not last too long, as both Skype and EQO (pronounced ECHO) intent to charge for their service in the future.
How does it work?  Palm Treo 700p has EVDO support, which means it has a fast internet connection.  Skype is offering free VOIP calls throughout the US for the rest of the year.  EQO is a bridge from the Palm platform to Skype.  Palm Treo 700p + Skype + EQO = unlimited free cell phone minutes

1) Buy Palm Treo 700p (both Sprint and Verizon should work, but Sprint is likely to be cheaper)

2) Sign up for the cheapest plan with FREE incoming minutes (39.99 is the cheapest with Sprint).  You will also need an unlimited data plan ($15 with Sprint)

3) Download and install skype to your computer, and create a skype account (FREE)

4) Sign up for an EQO account (FREE)

5) This step may change, but for now when you create the EQO account just put that Cingular is your service provider and put in your full cell phone number with the one in front(1 234 567 8910) 

6) Download and hotsync the Palm Java Virtual Machine (JVM) This step is important, there are a bunch of files you will need to copy over to your Palm, make sure to read the documentation more closely if you have problems!  http://www.palm.com/us/support/jvm/

7) Download and hotsync EQO to your Palm by using the Blazer web browser and going here: www.eqo.com/a

8) Download and install EQO on your computer http://www.eqo.com/upgrade_win.php

Summary so far
You should now have Skype and EQO running on your home PC (note you will need to have a high speed internet connection at your house!)  You should have the Palm JVM and EQO installed on your Treo 700p.  

9) Add contacts to skype

10) Run EQO on your Palm Treo 700p (answer yes to all questions) 

11) ENJOY your new unlimited calling plan!

I am well aware that this solution may not work for everyone, but hey it works quite well for me so I figured I'd share it!  The new Treo 700p has only been out around a week now, and I have searched long and hard to find a way to do this.  As far as I am aware it is the only way.  Skype has toyed with the idea of adding PalmOS to their list of supported platforms since 2004, but to date - they still have not done anything.
